The inspection documented a small coolant leak and minor oil seepage, each backed by photos. With the findings in hand, the buyer had specific, verifiable leverage and negotiated $1,500 off the listing price.
The interior and exterior both showed significant cosmetic wear. More concerning, the scan tool could not establish communication with the vehicle’s control modules, which can point to wiring, electrical or module faults, so the car’s diagnostic health couldn’t be verified.

Yes. Most dealerships allow an independent pre-purchase inspection on site. I come to the lot, run the full scope, and report back to you directly. If a dealer refuses an independent inspection, that is worth knowing before you buy.

Inspections start at $149 for one vehicle, $285 for two, and $140 per vehicle for three or more. The final price can vary with vehicle type, condition and distance, and is confirmed with you before you book.
Yes. EV and hybrid inspections include a battery health check when the vehicle and seller allow it, along with charging system and high-voltage component checks.
No. Vetted Auto Inspections is independent and does not perform repairs or sell parts. There is no incentive to find problems that are not there, and none to hide problems that are.
