Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 2026
Vetted Auto Inspections is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Standard we aim for
This site has been built to target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What that means in practice
- Text and background colors are tested to meet a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio
- Every page can be operated using a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator
- A “skip to main content” link is provided on every page
- Headings follow a logical order so screen-reader users can navigate by structure
- Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
- Form fields have visible, permanently associated labels, not placeholder text alone
- Form errors are announced, described in plain language, and linked from a summary at the top of the form
- Interactive targets are sized for comfortable tapping on touch devices
- Animation is minimal and respects the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting
- The site works and reflows without horizontal scrolling down to small phone widths
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing rather than finished. If you encounter a barrier on this site, we want to know about it. It will be treated as a fault to fix, not a suggestion.
